Passion Fruit and Cherimoya

MVP Farms has smaller crops of the delicious Cherimoya and Passion Fruit. We are continuing to increase our production of these two fruits, as demand is increasing.

Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit is cultivated commercially in tropical and subtropical areas for its sweet, seedy fruit and is widely grown in several countries of South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, Southern Asia, Australia, Hawaii and United States.

The passion fruit is round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity, with a soft to firm, juicy interior filled with numerous seeds. The fruit is both eaten and juiced; passion fruit juice is often added to other fruit juices to enhance aroma.


MVP Farms grows the dark purple, Frederick, variety of passion fruit.



Cherimoya

Cherimoya is grown in Southern Asia, Central and South America, Southern California and Portugal. The fruit is oval with an interesting green skin. The flesh is white and creamy with numerous dark brown seeds. It has a flavor of blended banana, pineapple, peach and strawberry.

It is a delicate fruit with a very thin skin, so it must be cultivated and stored with care.
