MVP Farms is a pioneer grower of Dragon Fruit in Southern California and one of the only growers of Dragon Fruit/Pitya in the Heritage Valley. We are also one of the few growers of organic Dragon Fruit.

Dragon Fruit, also known as Pitaya, is a beautiful fruit originating from South and Central America. Dragon fruit is now cultivated in tropical and sub-tropical regions around the world, including Thailand, south China and Hawaii.

Dragon Fruit is both healthy and refreshing. The inside fruit is a soft sweet texture that is either red, pink or white. The skin is usually covered in soft scales. Dragon fruit has multiple health benefits and is gaining in popularity due to the fact that it is rich in antioxidants and vitamins. It is known to help prevent colon cancer and diabetes and reduce cholesterol and high blood pressure.
